How gift subscriptions work
You can send a gift subscription of High Country News to a friend, family member or colleague with just their email address — no physical address required!
Your recipient will receive an email notification on the date of your choosing with a personalized note from you (don’t forget to sign it!) and a code to redeem their gift subscription.
Frequently asked questions
Do gift subscriptions automatically renew?
No, gift subscriptions will lapse at the end of the initial term unless action is taken to renew the subscription. If you’d like to set up an ongoing subscription for a loved one, contact our customer service team at support@hcn.org for help.
Do I need to know my recipient’s mailing address?
No, we now use a system that notifies your recipient via email and allows them to enter required information when redeeming their gift.
Can I see gifts I’ve given?
Yes, recent gifts should appear in the gift section of your customer dashboard. Contact our customer service team at support@hcn.org if you need help locating a gift subscription.
