The timeworn “A Paper for People who Care About
the West” apparently has been sent to the T-shirt. Alas. I
care about the West. I am not alone. That is why I read you. Do not
abandon your roots.
At least take the new moniker
“Independent Journalism for the American West” and put
it somewhere significant on the front page, not tiny on the bottom
of the back page.
A little more shouting is in order here,
both for the name of the paper and what it stands for.
Regardless, keep up the outstanding and important work. We all need
you. Especially now.
