The Endangered Species Act will be among the topics
covered at the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association and Colorado
CattleWomen’s midwinter conference Dec. 4-5 in Colorado Springs,
Colo. More than 250 ranchers and biologists are expected to attend
this panel discussion on how the act can be modified to engage the
agriculture industry in endangered species’ recovery. R.J. Smith,
who coined the phrase “free-market environmentalism,” is a keynote
