Transportation Partnerships, a May 1-2 symposium at
the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs, Colo., will highlight
solutions for the state’s growing transport problems. Communities
that have received grants – sponsored by the governor’s Office of
Energy Conservation – will share what they’ve learned, including
reports about trying to relieve traffic congestion in Boulder, and
developing a Park and Ride system for bus commuters in Colorado
Springs. Since its start in 1995, the OEC program has handed out 27
grants worth $700,000. Contact the OEC’s Melissa Petrone or
Jennifer Harrison Lane at 303/620-4292 or
