Christy Hays Pickett is a singer-songwriter living in Walkerville, Montana. She is the founder of Working Quiet 501c3 and operates the writers-in-resident program Dear Butte. Pickett is also the general manager of Butte’s only community radio station KBMF-LP Butte. She lives at the top of the hill with her miner husband, dog and cat.
