Reports of Ammon Bundy’s arrest and unconfirmed gunshots began cropping up on social media Tuesday night when occupiers were en route to a public meeting in John Day, Oregon, about 100 miles from Burns, where most militia groups were stationed. Bundy, leader of the nearly four-week-long occupation at the Malheur Wildlife Refuge, was taken into custody along with seven other individuals during the ensuing arrests.
